More information to be updated shortly. Below are available items, and while I work on setting up a more official platform, direct message @ctysall.art on Instagram or email cctysall@gmail.com to support the campaign (& get some prints, posters, or stickers in the process!). All profits go to RESERVA Youth Land Trust & the Pearl Island project to raise funds for sea turtle tracking in order to protect nesting grounds.
Read about the project here! All money raised is matched.

Poem or Pay
One part of the campaign is the choice to donate and/or write a poem about the ocean. The poems are being compiled in a book, and my turtle painting above will actually be the cover! Anyways, here's the ocean poem I came up with:
Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink.
There’s salt in there, an ion pair, NaCl I think.
I’ll swim, I’ll wade, inside those waves
a way to get away.
I close my mouth, to keep it out
that salty ocean spray.
We set our gaze upon the sea
you, me, we let out sighs.
For the air we breathe
we thank the seas
whose tennants photosynthesize.
Two H, one O, so blue, so vast,
with creatures small and grand.
It’s wet, it’s deep, the tides repeat,
and fill in all the land.
But if we treat it like we have,
Will all these good things stand?
Or will it die, the shores run dry,
not quite what we had planned.
The schools of fish I sure do miss,
they’re gone with hook and lure.
Poisoned the air, now coral’s rare
And trapped whales wash ashore.
The sea’s so high, beyond the tide,
lines not yet reached before.
The more I read, the more I see,
My eyes just feel so sore.
But I have hope, a hero trope
I feel it to my core.
If we work quick and change our ways,
These things we can restore.
Water water everywhere but not a drop to spare.
Our ocean needs protecting, so let us show we care.
